What a week! I hauled a Quad Graphics load full of Kohls newspaper inserts to Aurora, Colorado, and, while I love Colorado, I hate getting there. There's no major highways out of Oklahoma, so they send me up thru the panhandle into southeastern Colorado where I go north to I-70. It takes 5 hours just to get to Boise City!! Anyway, drove thru my first "storm on the plains" which was interesting as there's nothing blocking the wind. But it was neat seeing the storm coming from a distance. Brought a load back to OKC and drove thru another storm in the same area. Same observations, same results. It was a hard night. Slept, drove, slept, drove, slept, drove. No fun. Waiting to get unloaded then grab a trailer around 4pm and head for College Station.
