Hey there! I made it back from College Station about 11pm last night. Pulled a heavy load of mulch out of Cleveland, Texas, back to OKC. Nothing to really report. Cleveland was hard to get to and very time-consuming. No major highways in or out of that town, just a lot of 2-lane highway. I did see Lake Conroe with all these huge homes built right on the water. Looked to me like everyone had a boat house and noticed that some of the local businesses like, Walgreen's, CVS, a grocery store, some restaraunts, that were all built near the water, had docks nearby or behind them for people to take the boat instead of the car. Not really earth-shattering, but it was funny to see.
Also saw lots of bluebonnets. My wife wanted me to take some pics, but I was going to do one better and actually stop and dig some up. However, there was no real place for me to just pull over and stop so, unfortunatly, I could do neither. (and yes I know it's illegal to pick a bluebonnet)
I found out that, on Monday, I'm going to pull a container trailer to Dallas, drop that one and bring another back. Otherwise I'm going to enjoy this weekend. See ya!
