I thought I would use this blog to describe the day-to-day that I deal with behind the wheel. What I see, what I hear and what happens when I'm out on the road. I'll also try to post pics when possible. Enjoy!!

What a day! I'm in Shreveport, La. now spending the nite before I head home tomorrow. I got to Slidell around 12:30 this afternoon, just in time for the lunch-rush, so I got to deal with people who don't understand that I can't turn THAT sharp!! Got unloaded and had to drive to Oakdale, La. to pick up a load of plywood for Fox Lumber in OKC. Saw some cool stuff today. Lots of water traffic on the Mississippi River with barges and a couple of ocean-going ships being loaded. Also, on my trip to Oakdale, I saw lots of nice countryside. Noticed some fields were flooded on purpose. Built to hold water and grow something...but I don't know what. A gorgeous day, 75 degrees and very little wind with lots of sun. It was nice to have the tall pines shading the road, but still having the sun peak through. Very Washington-like. Saw 2 guys near a bar-ditch today. 1 holding a bucket, the other a fishing net. I could only assume they were trying to catch crawdads??
